New Features and Improvements
Website Designer 2.0 - Spell Check Enabled
We've enabled the spell check option to remain on at all times. Clubs and Districts using Version 2, will now see this option enabled as a default option when editing stories, news items, site pages, editing text for an Event from within the Event Planner module, etc. To turn this option off, simply click on the spell check option on the editor toolbar.
Website Designer 3.0 - Mobile Compatibility Options
Based on your feedback, we have added more control around the appearance of your website on mobile devices. You now have the option to enable/disable the one column view of your website on smart phones. The one column layout takes all the elements of your website and then presents it in one column taking the width of your phone screen into account. If you disable this option, then the website layout will match that of your site when viewed on a desktop or iPad. To access this feature, navigate to the Website Designer 3.0 link and then to the Settings tab. Click on "Edit Mobile Settings" and select your choice.
Bulletin Designer 3.0 - Group Greeting Update
When creating new or editing existing groups, entering the greeting content is now optional. If you choose not to add content, the bulletin still will display the rest of its contents.
Bulletin Designer 3.0 - Ability to add a custom link to the Bulletin Club Information Widget
Similar to the Club Information widget on the home page, you can now add a custom link to be displayed next to the District, Venue Map and Bulletin list links on the Club Info widget for bulletins. Great for adding external links such as your Facebook page!
Email Communications 3.0 - Custom Signatures in Emails
If you have a custom signature defined in your profile, it will automatically be included in all your emails, even if you select an existing template to use.
District Communications 3.0 - Assistant/Area Governor Recipient List Updated
The recipient list in the District Communications module, displaying the names of Assistant Governors now also displays which area they look after next to their names.
Dues and Billing - Quickbooks Integration
We're very excited to announce that ClubRunner now integrates with Quickbooks, both the online & desktop versions! You will now be able to export your statements and directly upload them to Quickbooks so you can always keep track of your financial records. Reduce time consolidating records and more time participating in club activities!
The Quickbooks Export feature is available within the Dues and Billing module. Once logged in, navigate to the Dues and Billing link, and then click on the "Export to Quickbooks" link on the left column of the page. Here, you will be able to select your transactions from within a defined date range to export. Simply click on the Export to Quickbooks option and follow the instructions as they appear on the screen.
Dues and Billing - 'Due Date' column added to "My Transactions" and "Individual Billing Transactions" page
The payment due date column that appears on the Dues and Billing home page, has now been added to two additional pages. Club members will see this column in the "My Transactions" which lists all of their billing items so they can better keep track of upcoming deadlines. Further more, this column now also appears on the Individual Billing Transactions page (transactions page that you can navigate to from the Account Statement page).
