New Features and Improvements

  • Website Designer 3.0 - Visual improvments for District Organization Chart and Club Info pages applied during this release.
  • Website Designer 3.0 - The page "Map of Clubs" in District version has been updated with a better design and layout.
  • Email Message Centre Version 2.0 - Composing new emails on V2 soon to be retired.
  • MyEventRunner - New name tag template for vouchers that allows event chairs to create vouchers for meals, tickets for excursions, etc. has been added.


Website Designer 3.0: Design Updates for District Organization Chart, Club Information Page and District Club Map Page

As part of this release, aesthetic changes were made to the District Organization Chart, the Club Info page on District websites and the maps of clubs page to give them a fresher look.

Email Message Center 2.0: To be retired on July 24, 2014

As we revamped the Email Message Center and made it available on Version 3.0, we will be retiring the Version 2.0 Email Message Center on July 24, 2014. Similar to the website migration process, you will be able to migrate all of your past new emails to this new system.

Email Message Center 3.0 is not only faster but it also allows you to have more control over your emails. To transfer over your emails from the old Version 2.0 system to this, you will see a button titled "Migrate Emails" which will automatically transfer all the emails and drafts that were created in the past 3 months.

Create and send customized message templates easily, attach larger files (limit increased to 6MB), continue to manage your distribution lists, add images to your emails from directly from your desktop or image library and even style your text using the options available. With the new AutoSave feature, your emails will be saved every 90 seconds, so you never have to worry about losing your drafts!

MyEventRunner: New Name Tag Template for Vouchers

We've added a new template for name tags to the "Prepare Name Tags" section in MyEventRunner. This new template allows event chairs to create vouncers for meals, tickets, etc. for registered attendees. Vouchers can be created based on payment status, packages and add-ons created under the same event.


Fixes and Other Changes

  • Website Designer 3.0 - Search engines such as Google, Bing and Yahoo no longer display Version 2 editions of websites that have switched to Version 3.0.
  • Website Designer 3.0 - Fixed issue with stories with non-ascii characters in the title not displaying correctly on Websites with custom domains.
  • Website Designer 3.0 – Fixed issue with protected pages not redirecting correctly after login.
  • Website Designer 3.0 – Fixed issue with Speakers built-in page not displaying speakers scheduled for today’s date.
  • eBulletin 3.0 – Fixed issue with sponsor ads originally created as "Text" type and later changed to "Image" type not displaying currently on Bulletins.
  • Volunteers 3.0 – MyEventRunner events have been removed from the Volunteers Module.
  • NonRotary District Version 2.0 - Issue with director positions not displaying on the Club Executives page has been fixed.
  • MyEventRunner – Fixed issue with some events displaying empty information on the MER Dashboard section.
